Privacy Policy

SmartCrew is a service of First Moments Ltd., a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us — for example when you email us or book a consultation: your name, email address, phone number, business name and details, and the content of your message. Our website hosting provider may also record basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

To reply to you, arrange and hold consultations, prepare and deliver the services you ask for, send invoices, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Service providers and storage

We use trusted service providers to run our business, including our website host (Cloudflare) and our email provider (Alibaba Cloud). These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and Asia, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries. We choose providers with appropriate security safeguards and share only what is needed.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, business and tax records are kept for six years under Canadian tax rules). We then delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to us. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
